The Student Team Takeover
Our new showcase, 鈥楾he Student Team Takeover鈥�, is on display at Main Library from Tuesday, 1 September 2026.聽
This fifth Main Library Showcase has been curated by members of the Library Student Team; an award-winning staff-student group consisting of undergraduate, postgraduate taught and research students who work collaboratively with Library staff to produce digital resources and deliver and facilitate workshops.聽
Choosing items from our University Heritage Collections and the that resonated with them, Student Team members have created a unique display, including items representing the expression of sexuality, experiences of racism, and the celebration of heritage and identity in cultural events.聽聽
鈥楾he Student Team Takeover鈥� will also display two 1969 copies of the student magazine, 鈥楨AR鈥�: edited and written by students, it published all items submitted. Current students will have a chance to recreate this 鈥� look out for our submissions box next to the display case, from which the Student Team will produce an issue of 鈥楨AR鈥� that will be added to the display later in the exhibition period.聽聽
The showcase runs from September 2026 鈥� February 2027, at Blue Ground in Main Library.聽
