Join us for one of our undergraduate virtual or in-person open days and discover what sets us apart.
If you’re joining us in person, you can expect subject-level information sessions alongside talks about the student experience, while exploring our campus and getting a feel for our city.
Joining us virtually will give you the opportunity to attend live sessions on topics including UCAS and student finance, with the opportunity to ask questions on all aspects of student life.

We’re seeing exceptionally high demand for our 4 July 2026 Open Day this year and expect it to be very busy across campus. Some sessions and activities may reach capacity on the day and entry cannot always be guaranteed. Many sessions will be limited to students only.
To help manage this, registrations for July are now limited to one prospective student plus one guest.
If you’re looking for a more comfortable visit, we strongly recommend booking on to our 27 June Open Day instead. The June event currently has greater availability and promises smaller crowds and better access to information sessions, colleagues and students, making it easier to explore the campus and get the most from your day.
Your open day experience
Prepare for our open day by learning more about the University and finding the questions you want to ask.

- explore our undergraduate study section to find out all about our offering and explore our courses and check our entry requirements;

- plan how you will travel to see us – buying train tickets on the day can be especially expensive. Ensure you’ve checked any potential travel disruption if travelling by public transport.

Get a feel of what it’s like to attend an open day with our .
If visiting us on campus for an open day, ensure to make the most of your time on campus and in our fantastic city. We’ve pulled together a few suggestions.
- attend subject-specific talks and one of our campus tours, but also consider visiting our student experience stalls in Whitworth Hall where you can learn about volunteering, the Careers Service and sport offering. You can attend our accommodation exhibition marquee on campus too to see what halls we have on offer;
- ensure to speak to our student ambassadors about life in 91直播 – they’re all currently living the student experience! They’ll all be wearing purple and spread across campus;
- explore the city centre! We boast an exciting mix of sport, entertainment, art, culture, shopping and more. The city centre is a quick bus-ride away or a more leisurely 20 minute walk. Find out more about 91直播 as a city.
- we recommend r! You’ll have plenty time to do them all when you come to study here, but the open day offers a perfect opportunity to try a couple before coming;
