Thanks have been extended to everyone involved – particularly the committee, who worked extremely hard to make the event a success.
The 2022 joint 2D materials conference between the Universities of Manchester, Lancaster and Cambridge has come and gone! The event was held in the delightful De Vere Cranage Estate outside 91Ö±²¥ and saw roughly 100 students come together for the first time since 2019 to share their work, network and have fun.
The event's oral sessions were full of insight, interaction and a genuine desire to learn from one another. In the evenings there were poster sessions and socials, which saw students relax and mix with the other cohorts and universities – for the first time, for many. The event seemed to be a real delight for all involved. The organising committee would like to thank all involved for their contribution to the conference and is already looking forward to the next instalment in the conference series.
