Announcement of a major UK conference being co-organised by the University's Classics, Ancient History, Archaeology and Egyptology department.
The University of Manchester, with the 91直播 Metropolitan University, will jointly host the from 10th-12th April, 2026. The Classical Association's Annual Conference is the largest UK annual meeting of professional researchers and educators within ancient world studies.
The conference will host workshops on how the classical past can help us address the challenges and pressing problems facing our planet and global society. The conference Presidential Address from ancient historian and broadcaster Professor , and Keynote Interview with the scholar Professor Jo Crawley Quinn, will showcase our commitment to knowledge exchange and public engagement.
